We are @ Skåne Innovation Day 2025 – December 1, Lund, Sweden

On 1 December 2025, Skåne Innovation Day convened more than 500 researchers, entrepreneurs, innovators and public-sector representatives at The Loop, Science Village in Lund – a full-day regional innovation forum focused on turning ideas into market-ready solutions.

The programme spanned the complete innovation journey: from early research and technology development, through test and demonstration environments, to pathways for scaling and commercialization. It underscored the importance of creating conditions where research results and entrepreneurial ideas can evolve into impactful, sustainable solutions for society.

Participation in this event provided a valuable opportunity for REFRAME to engage with a broad innovation ecosystem including academia, industry, public innovation actors and potential partners. It reinforced key lessons about the non-linear nature of innovation translation, particularly the structural and collaborative requirements needed to bridge research outcomes with market uptake.

Skåne Innovation Day exemplifies how regional innovation ecosystems can facilitate constructive dialogue across sectors, align research and industry expectations, and help identify concrete levers for scaling technologies that address sustainability and circular economy challenges, priorities that are central to the REFRAME project.
